I saw this in a magazine and thought it was an interesting idea. I expect that you could adapt it to the colours of any country's flags.

The shopping list to create it is:

~One 16-1.2 inch terra cotta saucer
~Four terra -cotta pots (one each: 16-inch, 14-inch, 12-inch and 8-inch
~One 36-inch long dowel, 5/8-inch-diameter
~A good potting mix
~Petunias in red, white and purple
~Decorative river rocks
~American flags

It's probably an old idea and most of you have seen it before but maybe the new gardeners will find it interesting.

I'm glad you like it as I was planning on doing it too. It gave me ideas about some of my blah planters that I could maybe add an extra tier and get better results.

I like that Sash...
Maribeth when I first seen this I thought of the pot rack you sent me and wondered if I could engineer a way to use it with this.
