These perennials are great duel purpose plants that look just as great without blooms! Flowers are just a nice side effect!

Ron, have you tried growing brunneras in the sun? i can get away with growing sedges and hostas in full sun here as long as i keep them watered. i was wondering about brunneras.

Partial sun is best with shade during the hottest part of the day!
Mine are in mostly shade with just a bit of morning sun!
Give it a try!
You can always move it if it gets sun scorched!

Sweetle, i found the yellow lamium years ago at a nursery. i haven't seen it since. it has powder pink blossoms but the real show is the color of the foliage. would you like a few starts this Spring?

thanks Ron. i have a ligularia in full sun also. it faints during sunny days but perks up at dusk or on cloudier days. i'll have to try this w/the brunnera, too. i'm in a cooler zone so it just might work.
