New at Perennials

I was wondering if this is Rose of Sharon or Holly Hock?
I recieved them in a plant exchange and was told it was Rose Of Sharon.

I just want to make certain .
Here are a few pics from stick life to bloom.I had 4 different color blooms, which bloomed at different times. I do know the maroon was the last and white was first, I had purple and I think pinks mid season .

Can you assist :banana-wa ?? Whats your opinion??:carrot:

Thank You very much, it will help me rest better

Isn't Rose of Sharon a shrub and hollyhock a tall, somewhat leggy flower? Looks shrubby to me!

I'm pretty sure it's a Rose of Sharon as I have some and they look just like that, but a different colour. Hollyhocks have the flowers growing up on one long spike, not in a bush or shrub as Sweetle has mentioned.

Thanks for your thoughts..we'll get to the bottom of this.
Keep in mind they are first year twigs planted there and not certain of the ages.
And as I stated I had different colors from different twigs which bloomed at different times, right after each other.
I've been searching for a while now for the other colors.
Im quite sure I took a pic, but Hubby renamed all my pics dates the same when he worked on the server and costs me hours of searching

Here is the whites again.OH, they are not connected just planted about 4-6 inches apartas instructed by one person, her hubby said put them all in the same hole, I chose to seperate them a tad.

As I said, most definitely a Rose of Sharon. You will get lots of babies from yours, as they are very prolific.

Thank you all this is rather interesting...Are all these suggestions related plants?

Mainegal, none of mine grew branches, only leaves and flowers.

Ron, why are your leaves not overlapping?
Very beautiful! Is white the only color you have?
