The place that I want to put a new tree is about 8-10 feet from a natural tree line that has a mixture of pines and other trees(Oaks,maples,etc.). Since, I am a little hesitant about another Douglas Fir,I would like some suggestions on other trees.They don't have to be an evergreen as long as it can be bug and disease resistant and a fast-to-medium grower.
