Takes 8 acres to support me.

See how you do, and post results.

15 acres. Guess I'm high maintenance. Actually, I'm not a big consumer compared to most people I know.

Sweetle,

I'm in your neck of the woods and I came up with 14. But it said the average for the US is 24.

hmmmmm they said I need 4.5 acres with two of us,,,,,,we'd need 2. something earths if everyone used as much as we do. BUT it didn't ask how much of this we generate ourselves. We grow a great deal of our own food, recycle what some people call 'trash' and put a great deal of our 'compost' back to the earth, so unless the questions are a bit more extensive, we're not getting a good average

I got 25. Probably because Bryon uses the truck for work, so lots of mileage and bad gas mileage too.

Hmmmm I wonder what each person would have to get down to to only need one earth?

Ekkkk...mine was 10 hectares and the average is 8.8 hectares....it says if everyone lived like we did that we would need 5.6 planets - now, this is reason to revamp some things I think!
