I am here in southern calif. some one forgot to tell mother nature that it is winter, so we just planted 24 fruit trees can hardly wait til spring when they are all in bloom. I've been reading some of the posts and find them very interesting. Being in Canada you are having winter. I'm a native Califorian I have been buying a lot of plants on E-bay and seeds We have 1/2 acre of barren land so I have been having a ball! I brought a lot of my own root antique roses with me. I've a lot to learn we have a half acre of virgin land and I am just having a ball. lots of rocks but I just keep moving them around and planting. I bought 6 blue berrys and so now Im trying to figure out where to put them my friend told me that she thought they should be against a north wall for they can't take our summer heat.
