I was known for many years on GardenWeb as Nigella. GardenWeb was an amazing place and gave me the most intensive schooling I could have hoped for. I'm just a dirt gardener but am passionately interested in knowing everything there is to find out about plants, jewelry making and photography. I specialize, to some extent, in begonias and in subtropicals. I'm really going to miss GardenWeb but it isn't the place I loved and was proud of any more so I'm sort of looking for a new home on the web. Do you have room here for an "expert"? |

We have plenty of room here for more experts and new friends. We heard there was a bit of upset going on over there . Welcome to GG look around and I am sure you will find this place filled with every thing you are looking for. swindyi |

Welcome to GG Dragonfly Eyes...glad you decided to hop over and join our family here. THis is a wonderful place to hang out in....check out the seeds, etc that are in the seed shop for this site (click on Seed Shop on above blue bar). There are others here that are interested in photography and jewellery making too - feel free to make new threads if you have any questions in these areas. I see you are from Mobile AB....hope things are getting cleaned up there after the hurricanes. |

I'm another GW refugee as of today. In my mind that place died 2 years ago, it's just most of us didn't take the time to notice. That made me lazy in looking for other Garden forums. I hope we have stumbled upon something better than we left. I love tropicals and container gardening. Large container plants are wintered over in the house and smaller things hang in the greenhouse. Love brugs, bananas, succulents, cactus, hibiscus, palms, and many different plants that can be trained as bonsai. Hope to make new friends here. randy |

Welcome Dragonfly and RJJ! Were happy to have you join us. This is a super group of very knowledgeable gardeners and those who are just getting excited about their first tomato. I'm a refuge from Garden.com that closed about 5 years ago. I've made some really wonderful new friends and meet up with so many of my old friends. Come visit the chat room too. Glad your both here! |
