Hey Doctor and welcome aboard. An eagle going after seed is rare as well. As you can see, planting for wildlife does pay handsome dividends. You are blessed to have the land and means to do so. Thank you for that. If the species are around, they will find the habitat, that is a good lesson to teach others. My blue jays like the square open feeder that has the mesh on the bottom (A Tray feeder) hanging from a tree. They are bigger birds so they they need a larger area to land. |
