Good deal, have you ever used Super Thrive? I would put some of that on the roses and for sure they will come back better than ever. I buy mine at Lowe's. I just transplanted a Silver Sheen (penisporium) and I just came in from giving it a good dose of Super Thrive. Send us pictures in the spring.

Thanx for the tip I just added it to my list for spring.

I bought two roses, one yellow & one white at Lowes today for $2 a piece. They both had a few yellow leaves with black spot from all the rain we have had in Fl this summer/fall. But otherwise they both look very healthy and i'm sure will bounce back by spring. The white rose i put in the front yard between my lavendar and pink roses. The yellow i put on the side of my house later i'm going to add goldenrod & black eyed susans for a yellow theme. how does that sound?

Thanx Maybe you could do miniature roses in a container? I've seen some at Lowes and Walmart & they were lovely/healthy.

Kale, here is a close match at smithandhawken.com-->foliage plant page--> scroll down to Calathea Roseopicta. Mine is simialar except darker with pink stripe where theirs has a white or light green stripe. Their price is $59 and mine was $8 so maybe mine is small. I wish I had a digital camera.....sigh.
