I started a few seed last Nov to see how they would do, turns out they did great, super head start. I even had a few peppers before last frost this spring. So I am hoping these produce all winter and have a good year start for next year. I am limited on space myself, already dug up and potted 7 plants today to save them from frost and i really would like to keep a few more. However the more i overwinter the less window space i have for seedlings this winter. |

I have a Tai Dragon hot pepper plant that is now 4 years old. Its "trunk" is the diameter of my thumb. I pot it up before the first frost, place it in a bright sunny window and water only when the leaves begin to droop. Then in the spring i cut it waaay back and place it on the front steps where it gets fed weekly, then when its really warm out, off goes the pot and into the garden. |
