What causes browning/yellowing of leyland cypresses? I planted them back in March and they've done very well up until a week or so ago when I noticed some browning/yellowing on some of the branches. They are planted in well drained soil. Could they be in need of some fertilizer? I pruned off the brown/yellow branches yesterday but the one tree has quite an extensive area of discoloration. I don't know what to do. HELP! |

Thanks Ron for the response. Looks like it may be the canker but I'm trying everything to save them. Thanks again! |
