I bought this plant 2 months back from Ikea. At the store it had lots of flowers. but once i brought it home, no new flowers formed. now gradually the leaves have started to drop. its in a big pot. i figured it would be a good move to plant in that so thta the roots can grow well and i can leave it in there for a few years. I have kept it indoors out of the sun but in a place where there is lots of bright light. occasionally, I have just given it the liquid fertilizer for house plants. the first picture (close up) is one that i found online. the second picture is of my plant at home. I don't know anything about this plant, but maybe it needs more sunlight? You've mentioned that it is in a bright room, but is there any sunlight that reaches the plant? Hopefully, someone else will know more about this plant than I do. |

I thought I knew a fair amount about Jasmines as I have 2 which are doing very well..I can't find yours in any books that I have. So here is some info about mine that may or may not help you..Jasmines like to be back from the window as far as possible and get only far away light..You did not mention what kind of fertilizer you used but remember they are very picky about their fertilizer..I get the best results from Miracle Gro used 1/2 strength..They also use a lot of water so keep on top of that or they will be full of spider mites very quickly..I suspect yours is just trying to adapt to a new place so be patient..Move it as far back from the bright light as possible but allow it to get good light. If they get too much light the leaves will turn yellow and fall..Oh yes they need good ventilation as well.. |

But I put it in my garden for the simmer, in full sun, and it was doing extremely well! No yellow leaves, no problems at all. Now that I want to bring it indoors, I was a little worried that I would not be able to give it enought light. Very interesting..... |
