I'm new at trying to identify butterflys, moths, dragonflys, and damselflys. Anyone know if this is really a Northern Hairstreak ? My book says they are rare.

Foz, In my Audubon book, the grey and the northern are side by side. The grey looks too dark in the book, but your pic of the grey looks just right. I think your right. Thanks
