Well...uh...I kinda shot mine with a B-B...not on purpose...was aiming at something else...certain people have told me that I could mess up an iron ball.

I always brought mine inside for the winter. Looked really cool when the Christmas lights twinkled off of it.

I want to get some that float for my pond.

I got 2 old bowling balls at the resale shop for $3 each last year. They look really pretty, and if you put the holes at the bottom, no one knows what they are! I got the stands at a Big Lots, a kind of dollar store.

I bought one at Target on the clearnce shelf for a few bucks. It lasted for years until my flooring guys pushing the box of flooring into my flower beds and broke it! The worst part is they denied it! Oh ya, the box inches away from the broken pieces, now I believe you guys!

But I love them! Mine was green and reflecked so much beauty.

i've had one for 10 years! they're tougher than they look but apparently not tough enough...right Weedeater and Shine?! i've added two more since. i now have an 8" silver ball, a 6" gold ball and a 10" blue one. i've used them on stands and i've put them on the ground, too. i gotta have them! i kept the boxes they came in and clean and pack them away every year. summer isn't officially here at my house til they're out in the gardens.

I think they are so pretty in a garden

We went to an auction not long ago..I have always wanted on on a nice stand and there at the auction was the most Beautiful gazing ball on a Awesome stand...the bidding began and we all herd this loud bang then smash...my ball was on the floor in a thousand pieces..the stand all broken...I was heart broken...so guess that was as close as having one as I will get...don't dare get one now figure that was an Omen

I love them! We call them "wonder balls" because everyone wonders what the heck they are for! My old boss called them "gaudy balls" because she thought they were hideous. She and I did not care for each other!!

I had a beautiful translucent purple/blue one that I adored. I kept it on a resin base on the front porch by a flower bed so it would reflect in the sun. Yes, you will notice I am using the past tense. In short, I broke it all by myself. No kids or cats to blame.

I have another pink one on a metal base, but it is made of glass like a Christmas ornament and is tarnishing on the inside. I like the clear ones best.
