On Saturday, March 1, 2008, Willie and Robert Johnson will once again host their annual “Collard Greens Festival” at the Promised Land Farm. This year we will kick off the celebration with a parade starting at 9:00 AM on Monteith Road. Many Local, State and Military Participants are expected. Our Parade Grand Marshall is the honorable State Senator Regina Thomas. Not only is this a way for us to show our appreciation to the public for their patronage throughout the year, it is a time for us give back to the community. Many activities are planned throughout the day.
