Ahh..........This REALLY is a friendly site! It was nice to come and see all the welcomes as well as to see that I am not alone in my desire to spend time here. I have joined a couple of other gardening type places in the past but didn't really find what I was looking for.
Now that I have found this wonderful site-need to learn how to use all the stuff. Think the games will have to wait a bit otherwise I may get distracted.
After I figure out how to use all the features of the website need to spend some time putting up pictures and creating a personal avatar.
Took a stroll around the yard-it is frozen and most winterlike minus the snow-but in my mind's eye I can see it. Can't wait till spring.
Off too hop around the site.

This is my second day on the site and I have spent hours reading forums, blogs and resource information. All the beautiful pictures and interesting blogs have me hooked and are feeding the gardening fire within!
Forum or Blog? I don't know. Seems as though the forum is where you go to ask a question or answer someone else's. Blog-seems to be an opportunity to put thoughts out there to share with others or simply unload.
From the rain chain to the unique plants, I know that I have happened upon a new favorite website. Thank you GardenGuide!

It is my intention to invest in a compost tumbler and am looking for input from others as to thier experience with this product. I hope this topic is ok for the blog.

Like I child waiting for the rain to stop so they can ride thier new bike, I find myself nose pressed up against the glass wishing it was spring. This seems to happen every year at this time only this year there isn't any snow and my plants seem to be somewhat confused as they have begun to show themselves.
For now getting lost in my favorite gardening catalogs and planning out the vegetable beds will have to do. I have several projects planned for spring and am busy drafting them out on paper.
I joined this website in hopes of learning and sharing. Already I have enjoyed the lovely photos posted.
