Well,Saturday is the Easter Egg Hunt. The weather man is calling for rain... The hunt isn't until 4:00pm,so if it clears by noon,we'll hide the eggs.(we filled almost 800) if it's raining at 4:00 then we'll collect all the eggs and try it again the next Saturday...Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into.... And the bunny costume head still smells terrible.I've aired it out for a couple of weeks now and it still smells like formaldehyde.I'll have videos and photos of the hunt,it should make for a good laugh when the Bunny passes out...hehehe I have to make 60 cupcakes and ice them.I sure hope this Saturday isn't a bust! With my luck,no one shows up or one of the kids tackles Bunny and my head falls off.My little grandson(5yrs) said he would love to jump on the Bunny's back...Oh boy!I'll ley you know how it goes....Keep your fingers crossed everything works out right...Sandy

Someone asked why we put dye in our pond.Take a look in my album"Before and after" and see the difference the dye makes. The pond looks like choc milk early in the spring, before the dye. It's safe for fish, pets and humans. It does help to keep the algae under control .The dog has drank out of it for 5 years now,and she's still healthy. Also ,we all swim in it.We are all green, but what the heck! hehehe
I'm not going to complain about how this poor old body feels after working outside all day.I know that those of you who got the chance to work in your gardens feel the same why I do....Just take a nice hot bath and some tylenol and relax.Maybe even a beer if you drink.I don't drink but right now an ice cold beer sounds good...hehehe Storms on the way tomorrow.Guess thats good in a way.I'll have to stay inside and rest....We put dye in the pond today,it looks real good.It did looked like choc milk, really muddy. The Koi are spawning(I think) and that muddies up the water too....
I got the little grand-kids really working today.I think it 's good for kids to help out.It gives them a sense of accomplishment when they see how beautiful the gardens grow. I'll bet they sleep good tonight....
Hope you all enjoyed your week end.Take care...... Later,Sandy

I just want to tell you all that I got a letter from Yardshare.com and they apoligized for the mix up.They were legit votes. They were sent in by the last contest winner. She had all the people that voted for her in the last contest's e mail addresses and thought she was helping me by voting for my entry with them. She has apoligized for trying to help me win, and sent a letter of apoligy to the Yardshare site. They forwarded it on to me.... It was not the fault of Yardshare.com They are an honest site and are getting bad publicity for all of this.I feel terrible. Please do not blame Yardshare.... I still am withdrawing to give others a fair chance to win....Thanks,Sandy
I have withdrawn from the Yardshare Celebration Of Spring contest.Last night the votes went up from 16 to 138....I was shocked, but happy.Unfortunetly,Yardshare said the votes are not legit. The other contestants are calling me a cheater.I am so embarrassed..I guess the right thing to do was withdraw.Thank you all so much for taking the time to try and help me.I appreciate the votes.I just am sadened by being called a cheater.....
I have such exciting news.I am in 1st place in the Yardshare.com ,Celebration of spring contest. My entry is" Tranquil Zen Garden".Thanks to all of you that have voted for the photo of my Japanese garden. If I win the $1000. I will finally get to finish the garden. If it wasn't for all of you, this wouldn't be happening. You are all wonderful friends.Without sounding mushy,I love you guys! I'll keep you posted on the progress....Sandy
