     We are looking for some nice RV resorts to go to .If anyone has info on  them I would appreciate it.We  would love to go down to Louisiana on the coast next year.This summer we are up to just about anyplace, I have cabin fever so bad....  Thank,Sandy

Yahoo! I'm finally in a walking cast,it's been 8 weeks of itching and not being able to get the cast wet.I have to use crutches for the first week and then it will be 3 more weeks in this walking cast.I can put full weight on the walking cast  in one week..I feel like I've been let out of prison.....This has been a long,long, winter!Thanks to all of you that entertained me . with your jokes and gardening tips.I don't know what I would have done without you my friends..... I was just looking at some pics I took last summer.There are a couple of a big bass a friend caught in our pond.She (the fish, haha)was full of eggs and if you look closely,she has a fish in her throat.We only catch and release in the pond,so I'm sure she had babies.Check out the pic,it's very interesting.....Sandy

Barbers today....

          My hubby is on his way to get a hair cut.What ever happened to the "old fashioned" male barber? The hot little number that cuts  his  hair  looks like a Playboy Bunny.I call her," Edward scissor boobs " Anyway,I keep telling him I can cut it,it would save him big bucks....I don't think I'm getting thru to him though.

           Well, I know you'll all be happy when I get the cast off so I'll quit talking about it.I only have 7 more days till I see the  Doctor,then hopefully,a walking cast and then I'll be done with it.I want to garden soon....

Go to" Mitzilou's Secret  Little Get away Cottage" in the forums.There is trouble in Paradise for the Duck & Cat...It's a frightening site.It's spousal abuse at it's worse. I warn you,if you have a weak stomach,do not look.I repeat,Do not look.... I think Lucky has  washed his paws of the whole marriage thing.Everyone tried to tell him it wouldn't work out.Ducky is very mean and aggressive  if she doesn't get her way....I'll keep you all posted on their love life......

Valentine's Day...

                We had our family dinner yesterday.We all exchanged cards and candy   and ate a huge meal .The kids were all wound up after the sweets and it was a complete nut house here.There was the usual crying,laughing,jokes,in
sults,  jealousy , pouting,and silence, that was the adults.The kids always have fun!  

                   We're starting to get the snow the weather man predicted.They are saying,6 to 9 inches.Oh man,another day inside....I don't know if I can take another day of" Scrabble  " My husband is making up words and I have to check constantly   to see if  he's right.It's getting to be a royal pain.....Maybe today we'll play "Monopoly"...

ANOTHER BIG ONE!

      Well, another big snow storm is on it's way.The weather radio just came on and they're predicting 5 to 9 inches of snow by Tuesday morning.This winter has been relentless...The snow is pretty to look at,but it's getting tiresome now.The kids are off school tomorrow,but they might have Tuesday off too if the roads aren't cleared.

         My kids and Grandkids are coming for a Valentine's Day dinner today at 3:00pm.I can't wait to see them.My son's little baby just started walking,he'll be 1yr old on March 4th.It seems like only yesterday he was born.They grow up too fast to suite me...Heck,it seems like only yesterday,my son was born and he's almost thirty.....

Ducky & Lucky's Wedding today....

Well, I'm sure you have all heard of the big wedding today at Mitzilou's Secret Little Get- away Cottage( posted in the  forums) Lucky the cat and Ducky the duck,are getting hitched.They are a very odd pair,they have been best buddies for about 3 1/2 years now.They are finally taking the plunge and getting married.....Look at their pics in Mitzi's blog....All are invited at 6:00pm tonight.Wear your best outfits and come for lots of good food and entertainment.Bring your pets too.The bride and groom are  a bundle of nerves....If we all aren't captured and hauled off to the Funny Farm after this,I don't know what it would take.....Please write a blog after attending the wedding and let us know your thoughts.      See Y'all there,Sandy

Another Big Storm!

          Well, the weather radio just came on.Another big storm headed our way,they are calling for 5 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow.  That's on top of our 12  inches we got day before yesterday.  The grandkids are so excited they're hoping for a day off from school.I'm sure they'll get their wish ,unless the forcast is wrong...

            I put a pot roast  and vegetables in the crock pot  this morning.It sure smells good.I love meals like this on cold,snowy days.Plus,it's so easy....

             We went to",Sams Club" today.I  used one of their scooters to get around the store.(Hopefully,I'll have this cast off my leg on Feb 25th) Anyway, while we were there I bought a swimsuit.We plan on getting out of here and heading down to Florida after March 6th.I want the warm  weather and sunny beaches...I just hope it's not the same time as the college kids spring break.....We'll be at a motor-home park,so I doubt  that college kids will  want  to be around old folks...haha unless they plan on  Quiet time at 10:00pm   and shuffle board....

           I can't hardly wait to start planting in the spring.The thought of flowers blooming and leaves on the trees is just about too much for me.I want Old Man Winter gone....
