Halloween Party a sucess!

Well,the Halloween party was a sucess.It was a lot of work ,but worth every hour of it.Today was clean up day and we are exhausted! We had a huge crowd as usual,everyone had a blast....I'm posting pics in the forum (under GG photos)Halloween....I wore a clown costume for a few hours,then ran back to the house and changed into the girl gorilla.It was a big hit with the kids.My hair was soaking wet when I took off the rubber mask , it off was so hot! The weather cooperated and stopped  sprinkling.The temp was around 68 degrees and there was a full moon.Perfect for the hay rides....This has been my thrill for the year,I love Halloween! Dog gone it,it's raining.We just put the crepe paper streamers on the hay wagon and it's getting wet!It wasn't suppose to rain today...I am so mad!The party starts at 5:00pm ,so maybe it will stop by then.We can always turn the straw bales over so they won't be wet,but the streamers are done for.... will keep you posted.Have to go put my clown make up on.At 7:00 I'm running back to the house and change into the gorilla suit....I'm a nut!

            .Dave and I worked on the Haunted Hayride trail again today.We are almost finished.Still have the Hay Wagon to decorate and clean the bathroom in the barn.Really,just last minute things to do.We went to GFS and bought lots of soft drinks and ingredients for chili.My daughter and I made enough chile last year to feed 200 people.Although,I'm sure not everyone ate it.Everyone brought either a side dish or a dessert.It was a real feast....I posted some pics in the forum of the grave yard and some of the ghouls,check it out. Photo gallery in the forums.They are pretty scarey if I must say so... .When we have the Halloween Party,everyone is invited.People show up that we don't even know...LOL You are all invited!

We have so much to do before the Halloween Party on the 23rd.There is a grave yard to make, bales of straw  and blankets to put  in the hay wagon and decorate it,finish decorating the barn,get food ready and finish up making the costumes....I absolutely love this time of year! I wish you could all come to the party.Wouldn't it be fun to meet each other ?If any of you live close enough,please come.I'll send you the address.You are certainly welcome....I'll post pics of the party...

I am worried sick.My son has to go to Mexico City on business next Monday(for 2 weeks) His company is providing an armoured car and body guards for he and another employee.Mexico City is  a dangerous place.They have a lot of kidnappings there.I won't be able to sleep till he gets back from there.He hasn't even left yet and I'm going nuts! Please say a prayer for his safe return,Thanks,Sandy

I've been sewing all day.I made my daughter a "Red Riding Hood" outfit.Her husband is going to dress as the "Big Bad Wolf " I still have costumes to make for the grandkids.I'm worn out..Hope you all have a good night... Sandy.
