I promised a photo of my scooter and new neon pink cast.Here it is....only 4 more weeks of this cast and then a walking cast for 2 weeks if all heals well....Yipee! I can't wait to get rid of this scooter too....It is better and safer than crutches tho.

     I went to the Doctor today.Had more x-rays and got a new cast.This one is neon pink,very bright.Actually,you need sunglasses to look at me.I go back on Feb 25th and hopefully my ankle has healed enough for the walking cast .Then two weeks with that.Oh,I can't wait.It will be gardening time by then.

        It's been fairly nice weather the past few days.a lot of rain,but mild temps.It kind of tricks you into thinking it's almost spring.Old man winter can't fool me,we have plenty more ruff weather coming....Our pond isn't frozen anymore.The duck is having so much fun.I'm thrilled,cause she's off our front porch.She has made it a real mess.It is funny  tho,she pecks on the glass sliding doors and watches us ,her and her buddy,Lucky(the cat)It's really cute.My husband doesn't think it's at all cute.He has to hose down the porch  and it's too darn cold to mess around in water.....He gets so mad,he really likes Ducky ,but not her messes....

         I finally figured out to post pics on the Forum,but not on my blog....I'll learn eventually....I hope

          This is a helpful tip I'm sure you will appreciate.If you have a bad cough,take a large amount of laxatives.Then you'll be afraid to cough.....he,he, thought  it was funny.I am so bored with this broken ankle I just sit around and try to amuse myself.Send me some funny stuff,Sandy

My Zen Garden

It's cold and snowy, the wind is gusting and I long for spring. I  dream of sitting in my zen garden ,looking at the koi in the pond and relaxing under the pogada tree. I look thru my photo's and contemplate on planting new flowers and putting in a stone bench and a few  oriental statues....Here  are a few pics,if you can think of any ideas  to make it more tranquil,please  give me your opinons..

Well, changed my avatar picture again.Every one is  more frightening  than the last one I used....Happens as you age I guess. Maybe one day I'll get one that has the wrinkles erased....I have nothing to do  since I'm in a cast and can't get around, so bear with me folks.I just have a lot of idle time to play around with the computer. It doesn't take much to amuse me,I need some laughter in my life.Any funny stories would be appreciated...Thank you my G G friends, Sandy
