Hello !!!!! Hope all have been having a great summer. I have missed you all. I have been so busy with crafts, cooking, grandkids.... you name it. My garden is gone and my yard is looking pretty bear. I have a few prewinkles, mexican petunias (dwarf and tall ones), marigolds, hibiscus(yellow), verbena(red & white), cannons(red orange), lantana(pink), morning glories. I think that is about it. I am waiting for the Mums to come out in the stores. My favorite is the yellow and purple Mums.
Today I had my 2 youngest grandkids.... they are such pleasure. We had a blast. Son is redoing his kitchen...so it was mama and papaw time. Tomorrow will be husband and I time out. Our date for the week. Who knows where we will end up. Last Sunday we took off and didn't know where we were going to, but we ended up in Breaux Bridge,La. at Mulate's Restaurant. Had gumbo. I hate to say it but I have had better. I don't like oysters and they were in it. We have been there before and their food was great...don't know what happen that day...maybe a new cook. But they have a live band(you can dance if you want, but no one danced) and cajun singing. It was great , friendly folks. I would like to move down south. Then we headed back and stopped in at a flea market in Lafayette....but didn't see a thing I wanted, but we ran into an old friend of ours by surprise. It was good to see her again. It was nice just to sight see . Don't tell my husband but I was looking in all the yard, trying to see what kind of flowers they had....lol. It was a nice day out.
As you all know I have been busy with my crafts and haven't been on in sometime. I will share a few flowers and new crafts. Hope you enjoy.
Well thats all friends... it is late and I have a date with my honey tomorrow. I'm sorry I haven't been around in a while, hope you all will forgive me. I will soon be cold and I will be inside all the time . God Bless you all... reba
