I haven't a clue

A bizarre thing to do

What do the meecies

Want with you?

Each time a new bar gets set on the shelf

They seem to think it's dinner

And help themself

What pleasure they get it's truly unclear

They shred open the corner and then it's clear

There's teeny tiny eensie weensie incisors

That have scraped the contents

And still to me it makes absolutely no sense

To dine on my bars of Fels Napha soap

I wonder if they toot fart bubbles?

And just when I think this is a problem we hear gnawing inside the plaster wall up toward son's old bedroom ceiling before 6 a.m. this morning.  I went to the cellar for d-con and went to the attic to place it. I doubt it even gets in the attic, but just incase. I think it's a chipmunk, but it sounded like a groundhog at that hour! I have too many undomesticated critters here!
