Can't Wait!

12 days and McKenzi and I head off to New Mexico. My niece is turning 1! I am sooooo excited. I have a wonderful sister in law who keeps me up to date with current picts, videos, and stories of my niece and her growth. The added bonus is I get to see 2 of my3 little brothers so that makes it even better. I am a little worried about the weather because of the accident and it always seems that there is weather on Raton Pass. Normally Shane is with me so I can just let him drive.Well, he won't be going on this trip and I'm nervous. But I believe that God will certainly make a way!  I want get my niece something great, noisy and fun! Any suggestions? I think we will finger paint, eat chocolate and make a giant mess while I'm there.....LOL! Oh I can hardly wait. I realize what goes around comes around, but they have to come around for it to happen...ha ha ha! Of course I have to be careful because I can't have McKenzi acting all crazy...LOL. Oh I'm bad, but its good, and thats my right as an Aunt right? Right!

We took a trip to Home Depot today. Not much going on in the garden center. But I did find some Dahlia bulbs. Oh will I be doing some research! Obviously they grow here or they wouldn't be selling them. I just want to know the in's and out's. What BEAUTIFUL flowers! And outstanding water scape kits they had. Oh am I going to be busy. I need to win the lottery right about now, lol. That will be hard considering I don't even play.....oh I crack me up.

Well I'm off to bed. Wish me luck and say a prayer for me. It's suppose to snow again tonight and it has been 3 weeks since I've been to church and I NEED and WANT to be there tomorrow. Our Pastor is going to sing the sermon, I can hardly wait! (sick 1 week, the wreck the next and snow last week.) Have a great evening and a WONDERFUL Sunday friends!  God Bless! ~Trinity~

 

Spring is Springing!!!!!

What a wonderful gift........I step out the door this morning and I look over to the left of the porch and  I see it........Green. What? Could it be true? Yes ......my Hyacinth's are coming up!!!! YAHOOOOOO! I think all of you can imagine how truly excited I am at this moment. God is good and winter is almost over. I hope there is something green popping up in your gardens, and for those of you who already have flowers I am sooooo happy for you!

I don't know when that white stuff will be back, not any time soon I hope!

Finally saw the sun today for the first time in  I think 4 days so that was nice! It was super freezing and melting some of that S#@w  (my hope is if I don't spell it out it won't come back for a while....wishful thinking....LOL)  which is creating lots of mud in my empty flower beds, and that is currently McKenzi and Dixie's favorite place to be so I am having to mop a lot. Oh well at least they are having fun!  Other than that there isn't too much going on here. I think thats a good thing.

Yep it's snowing again......Oh Lord, Please let Spring get here soon! Amen!

Well things have settled down around here. Got my house all cleaned from company and got the parts picked up for the truck, now if hubby can just get time to put them on...lol.  Other than that there isn't too much going on today. I hope all of you are having a great day. Take care and God Bless!

Good Morning gang~

Hope this finds everybody doing well, and staying warm.  As for me well I'm blessed.

Valentine's Day was a wreck......literally! I was driving myself, my mom and McKenzi to church Sunday morning, it had snowed a bit, but I assumed the interstate would be clear so I felt confident that going to church would be no problem. We headed out we were doing fine and all of a sudden the truck started going a whole different direction. We hit the cement barrier which stopped us (Thank you GOD) blew out the drivers side tire and pushed the bumper down around the tire, busted out the lights on that side and cracked the grill. McKenzi hit her face and her lip got busted but other than that we were all ok. So I called Shane and told him he needed to come get us. My Uncle was in route to church so he stopped and picked up my mom and McKenzi and went on to church. While I was waiting on the east bound side of the interstate a car did the same thing I had done. I was almost certain my life was about to end as the car was headed straight for me and I couldn't move. I froze totally. Thank you God for the cement barrier!! Quite some time had passed since I talked to Shane so I called him to seee where he was. Turns out he had got hit in my car by a lady that lost control of her car. They both got spun around but no bodily injury. Thank you God!!! I don't think I will ever forget that Valintine's Day.

We did have family in town over the weekend, so that was a spirit lifter. They left yesterday. I was sad to see them go, but sure thankful for the time we got to spend together. It was so fun to watch McKenzi and my youngest cousin Tucker play together. I remember playing with my cousins and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. I wish we all lived a little closer so they could make as many memories as I was able to make with my cousins.

So we are suppose to get more snow today......I hope it doesn't I hope that weatherman is wrong wrong wrong!! Is it Spring yet? I didn't think so.
