Hurray!! I have veggies

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend, we did. Came home to find I have squash (crookneck) coming and my tomato plants altho didn't get huge are now showing fruit that is turning red.  There are green in the bush even tho it looks like something is eating the leaves. But sadly my corn , some of it , is about 3 1/2 feet and tasseling. I hope that some of the smaller ones my end up with corn on it.   It may not be a super producing garden, I'm happy with my first attempt............it will be better next year.

Ok, I got the pies made.........some how mixed up 2 but ended up with 3. And I squeezed in a batch of cookies to take also. Picked up my son from camp, he had a great time and no new wounds. Also I just finished the camp laundry from Hell. I did well when I picked him up, I saved the hugs and kisses till we got home. Didn't want to embaress him. We'll it's the end of a great day and I hope you all had one too!

Sent hubby off to work, he drives a tanker truck but is home every night. At least part of the night. Its a busy day, I'll go pick up my son from camp today. Can't wait to see him, funny , I'm sure after five mins I'll want to take him back! We're going to the in-laws for the 4th so I'll bake pies today. Apple of course! I'm very glad to have found this spot...........it's great to make friends. Gotta get to those pies!
