Happy Mothers Day

I mean this for all those who fill in as Mom.  I know several men who do the job admirably, but there are no cards for them; why?  Oh, well, I'll just make my own and send them.

I knew yesterday was going to be one of "those" days.  We were rearranging our screened porch when the hint came: America, by Waylon Jennings came blasting through the walls; Mike had rediscovered his favorite CD's.  Pretty soon we were dancing and my legs are killing me, this morning, but it was fun.

We tore apart an old Telefunken and salvaged the teak; birds are going to be living in high style, now.

We're going to our daughter's, today, to help her pack up furniture; they have moved into a condo, while their home is having a 2nd floor added.  SIL is recovering from hip-replacement surgery, so we're filling in for him. 

I asked my grandson (7) how he liked living in an apartment and he said, "When I stand on our balcony, I can see the lights of the city."  He's a "my cup's half full" little guy.  The granddaughters will be there, too, so it will be nice, watching the 3 Musketeers playing.
