Pruner's Remorse

I pruned the rose bush in front of our house today. Last year I took a pruning session with the Rose Society and learned how. So last year I pruned it, but just a little, since I was new to the whole thing. Well I didn't kill it last year, so this year I pruned it harder, since they said that I probably couldn't kill it, even if I tried. So here is the result...

 

You can see from this photo from last spring the massive amount I took off this year.

I will let you know if I killed it... I should know by around the end of May. :(
