It never fails, I had just taken my camera out of my purse and left it at home. My son, grand daughter and I were on our way to eat breakfast. We were passing by JCPENNEYS. There in front of the store the CLYDSDALE horses were being walked. By the time we went home to get the camera and drove back, the horses were already in their trailers. I can have that camera with me every minute and as soon as I leave it home I miss a good picture.
The next one is named Charlie, He actully seemed interested in us.
I guess everone has heard of the rain storm Texas got. Well, I opened the door to check the weather and saw one long spider web with a spider hanging on for dear life. It's beyond me how it was hanging on, with all the wind. A little later I took him down to get a closer picture. After that I put him in a large glass, which I took outside and laid on it't side so the spider could eigther stay inside or go out in the rain. Last check, he was still dry inside the glass spining a web.
I think he might be in the crab spider family. What do you think?
You can't tell from the picture but, there are several orange and grapefrute trees. pomagranet tree, several fig and japanese loquat trees, a blackberry and a grape vine. I hope it want be too long before I can plant my own plants.
I have had the butterfly weed for a couple of years. This is the first time I have had the caterpillars on the plant. There's not much left now. If, I get seed this year I will plant every last one, so, I will have plenty for them next time. Now, that I will have more yard. I got my house. I'll move in April 26. The house is old and need lots of TLC and lots, and lots of elbow grease.
