It's happy mommy's day,yea!! Presents yahoo!!! My girl Bambi just gave me one of those cellular telephones She said it was in case I get into one of my fixes while driving to town and need back-up!She probably means the flat tire thing or maybe the time I had a tree I bought sticking out the trunk and almost got a ticket.Her REAL gift; concern for her Mama's saftey.My husband Richard took me to the nursery and said "Pick something", a dangerous thing to say to our budget,LOL...I got a pampas grass and can't wait to plant it.Lets see what else..An E-Mail from the Ohio daughter,she's a sweet little nightinggale{nurse} her song is sweet and a lovely gift.Two more daughters to go later on today.Honestly, what a nice bunch of coconuts they are. It just occured to me that THEY are mothers,too.Maybe I should surprise them with breakfast in bed. Nah, that is their childrens gift.

Potatoes, beans ,onions ,peas .Cucumbers, melons ,okra please.Cabbages and roses,squashes galore,please sir, please sir,I want some more! Radishes, lettuces, rhubarb too, what ,oh what is a gardener to do! I'll can it , I'll freeze it, and of course I'll eat it, it's fresh and delicious, man ya can't beat it !

May is one of the most beautiful months of the year.Gone are the cold winds of winter, the leaves are new and the freshness of spring invites young and old alike to frolic in the new grass.The tiny wildflowers reign in May.I love to walk the pastures and fields and the woods at this time.So much to feast the eyes upon. The racing clouds making shadows on the green, sunlight filtering through the trees.I truely believe that the Lord gifted us with May.
