ABout who I am

Hello,
             My name is Jackie.I live in central Va., with my husband of twenty-five years. Our old farmhouse is drafty in winter and cool even in July. We have four daughters, and ten grandkids. I am a writer of  short stories, but have not over the years been interested in publication. Mostly, I just try to get through life with as little upheaval as possible. I love growing things and sunlight and wind and storms, and rain on our tin roof. The September light makes me want to become a painter.

My many neices and nephews think I am funny, my kids think I am a hippy, still. As indeed I am. I am the third child of eight, four girls, four boys. My poor mother! So, thats who I  am.
