Whew-we boys and girls. Finally got out and started my fall clean up. Pulled out tomatoes that had seen better days and got some trash up off the yard. In the spring, I had planted verbena in pots...it did fair to middling. I planted these verbenas out in the bed and started potting up some snapdragons and precious little violas "antique pink". I love pansies, violas and snaps. I also love to have pieces of varigated ivy in all my pots, especially with the winter pots. Outside time is over for today, time to get crackin on some house work. Peace and Love.
I have a couple of flowers that look good. First a pineapple sage.
I keep forgetting the name of the next one. Mexican sage or French sage or something. Anyway, I love it.
Now this is my newish kitty, Thomas. He is a pure delight but he also dug up and tore down 3 of my 4 plants that I left inside for the summer, including my good rubber plant. I am going to have a long talk with him.
My zinnias are looking shabby, but still covered with winged things, so I am leaving them a little longer. Went to Lowes yesterday and drooled over pansies and snapdragons. I am really ready to start with them, but have a lot of clean up to do first. Also, its still too warm for me to put them in. We are still running the ac.
It's football afternoon and I have some cleaning to get done. Peace and Love.
