March 31st and I'm planting morning glory seeds
Mar 31, 2008 | 5:54 AM PST
I can't wait to get outside today. Yesterday it was cold...about 55-60 degrees. I know some of you are laughing right now! I have some morning glory seeds that I want to plant. I soaked them in water a few days ago. I hope I haven't waited too long to get them in. Oh well, even so, I have more. I''m planting along the fence. I also have a couple of nandinas to plant from my mom's garden. S he passed away a couple of years ago. It's been hard. I want to make a "memory garden". I'm getting some things from her garden before we sell. I like to think she's still watching her things grow. It's funny, I couldn't stand those nandinas while growing up. My brother felt the same way. Now we want some just b/c it is a connection to her. Sound weird? Anyway, I'm enjoying getting this going. I have planted some of her Rose of Sharon(she always called it Althea). Well ,better go get my coffee, read a little more and get to planting! Everyone have a great day! And if you don't...just get out in the dirt and you will instantly feel better!!!! Trisha g.
