Tag: superbowl sunday..
for the next 4 days for a change.The daughters room got finished, and carpet laid yesterday! Then to get the king size mattress up the staircase! It took 4 of us,for some reason I was on the bottom pushing up,and now I'm sore. Nothing a day of not moving furniture wont cure I'm sure. Next we ripped up Landons old carpet. It won't be too long before a new one is laid down though. We tucked his mattress in with his brother which he likes,while we've got his bed torn apart and ready to repaint down cellar. His room is done painting.Downstairs we emptied out the living room for an updo redo,temporarily set up the living room in the old master bedroom. Painting out the ceiling-walls,and floor with a new large area carpet in there also. Once the living room is done, then we can start in on the hubbys new mancave. He doesnt want to be in the cellar anymore,and the big old bedroom will make a nice mancave for him he says. Since he doesnt like the dark purple type color, its going to be a blue-gray. Well, that should take us to the end of winter for her projects. Now back at my house,which we call the funny farm,today we finally start our shower room. Got my new cabinets,which hubby will start today, and I finally start priming and mudding while I've got everything torn apart. Well, that should look weird to finally have some paint on the walls,any wall will do.Hubby will also build me a small closet since there's enough room.My brother will start the shiplap wall of pine when he gets back tomorrow. If just the shower room gets completed over this winter,then I'll be happy. We've got 2 months,before I'm back outside and tending to the garage sale again,with no time for inside stuff. If its a normal April,then the snow should be gone from the front mudroom bed,and I can figure out what to put in there for flowers and/or veggies. For my birthday we tried out a new restaraunt-which was a great meal,and today for lunchbreak, we get together to celebrate 5 birthdays. So today,I'm not sure just how far we'll get on that room,but anythings better than nothing...
