let the painting begin.. for this year anyways. That was a big turkey pot pie and a big pot of turkey stew. Both came out so yummy. I figured I would at least have some left overs of stew to put in the freezer, but that got gobbled up fairly fast. Our next turkey is in January at the daughters. We were able to get a little more done outside yesterday, but the wind was whipping north raw and strong. Got the deck furniture off the deck anyways,up on a pallet-grouped it all together, tarped it and roped it down next to the deck. This year we decided not to put it in the shed,as they take up so much room. Got the outdoor rug hanging up so it will dry out. I'm thinking strongly about turning this deck into a seasonal porch thing. Actually I was thinking that when we first built it.Then we could still grill no matter if it rains, and no bugs if we have screens, and everything could just stay put. We had acquired another small flat trailor for hauling stuff, but this one gets built into a dry cargo trailor. Hubby got my window box down for me,today I will empty it into the garden. A south wind coming in today, and temps going up again.I got the grill parts cleaned up,just a little to do cleaning up the grill now. Today,I would like to get a few xmas decorations out,but I also need to get to the store for a few groceries,so they may not get put up today thats all. The daughter has decided its time to move her bedroom upstairs, and give Landon his own bedroom. I got him to sleep in my spare room all by himself with the aid of night lights,so thats all she was basically waiting for,was for him to be ready for the next step, and he said he liked it. So she started stripping the old wall paper off,and got both rooms done. So instead of doing one room, we'll be re-doing two rooms. Well, all because I mentioned starting her living room-which she wanted to do this winter, and it would give us the whole winter to get it done.So now, thats got bumped to the bottom of the list, and the bedrooms get done first. Now, what was her big bedroom, is now going to turn into a family game room,as her hubby decided he wanted that for his game room. And that also needs to be repainted before the guys move in there and take it over. Anyways back to the upstairs bedrooms. Need to make Landons room boyish, and daughters room more girly, but not overkill,as the hubby won't like it too girly. So this afternoon,I go over there with the spackling can so she can start filling nail holes, and we can make sure everything is clean before we start priming & painting. She's worried about getting a king size bed up the staircase, but hers is much bigger than mine was,and we did it,but today we will measure just to be sure. Will also decide what day to go look at colors of paint...
