Mina Vine anyone??

I saw the neatest looking vine the other day and purchased it right away. It is called Mina Vine..

Has anyone ever planted this before? Tell me more about it.

Yesterday I planted several things.. but still have a long way to do in spring chores.

Planted  3 Miss Oklahoma cannas on the berm which I will have to dig up in the fall.

Also planted an unknown name dwarf salmon color canna in the kettle along with hot pink petunias

An african daisy on the berm along with some petunias. My bulbs are all coming up. Oriental lilies, asiatic lilies, etc. All the perennials are showing their faces this spring. Penstemon and speedwll, coneflower etc.

I put impatients in the pots I have by our little 90 gallon ''pond''..

It is finally spring! :)

It has been awhile since I visited. Things have been crazy around here.. I have a family member in hospice and  spent time in Iowa, my hubby has pneumonia, lots of spring chores on days that are decent. Although missed some great if not really windy days outside this week, because hubby had doctor appts 3 days and 2 of them were 90 mile round trips.

My daffs and tulips are blooming. Some of the dafs I had to cut and bring in because that last snow we got was so heavy they were just laying on the ground. ut got to enjoy them anyway.

We had some nice temps tioday.. so I went to the nursery. Lots of flowers!! I spent too much, but it is cheaper than therapy:) Got some Elegance geaniums, petunias, marigold, shasta daisy, geraniums, verbena, million bells etc.. and planted a few containers. Yippee..

I will hold off awhile longer to do bigger gardening gotta make sure no frost.. every year I get antsy and plant and then a frost comes along..
