Baking the Garden

I had so many diseases and bugs last year, that I'm baking the garden.  I'm using clear plastic sheets over the whole thing.  I was told at the garden center to keep it on there for at least 6 weeks.  I figure I'll keep it on there until planting time, May 15.

I'm going to start my leafy greens and kale seeds this weekend.  I figure I'll put them out as soon as they have true leaves.  I'll put them on the edges of the plastic.  I couldn't believe how much better broccoli tasted after the first frost, so that's why I'm putting all my kales and greens out as early as possible.
