I had an english ivy that was growing really long, so I took a wire hanger, made it into a heart, and wrapped the ivy around the heart. It wasn't quite long enough, but it'll be really cute as it grows longer!
I had to buy rosemary last week, and I thought I'd check out the fresh rosemary, too, just to price it out. My alterior motive was to root some and havea plant for cheaper than I could get it at the nursery. It turns out there was a rosemary "cutting" that still had a rootball on it! It was the same price as a container of dried rosemary.
I planted the rosemary plant. It had three stems on it. Two of them died, but I haven't killed off the last stem! Yea!
On a different note, I planted cauliflower and later discovered it's one of the hardest to grow. If I can grow rosemary and Cauliflower, I have upgraded from a brown thumb to olive green.

I just realized I accidentally planted 9 extra tomato plants, 2 extra pepper plants, and 1 extra hot pepper plant. We'll see how things turn out, but maybe I can bless someone else with my mistake.

I started an indoor compst bin in the fall. I started it with three red wigglers, a shovel-full of dirt, and a slice of zuchinni in a five-gallon bucket. Now I have more worms than I can count, 5 of which are pregnant (really fat and not moving much). I make my three-year-old feed them and give them a drink about once a week. I'm really excited because those worms produced enough dirt for me to plant 52 seedlings! Yay!
