I told you about me heading for the hospital, a few days ago, I don't even remember the day, but they didn't have a bed , and wanted to admit me into an civilian hospital, we reclined. They had me to sign the release form, they gave me a big shot and medicine to take home. We came home and I slept that night, all the next day, and the next night until about three am. I signed on to GG, and wrote a long update, but had a word I could not spell, so I went to Google, but when I came back, I had forgot to save my update, so it was gone. I was so frustrated, I decided to read some in the forums, until I cooled off. Before I made it back here, the VA hospital called for me to return immediatly. So we packed up and left. We drove the 60 miles back to the hospital, and they had had a mix up and had promised and filled the bed. I was so frustrated, they had me to stay in the ER, so they could monitor me until I settled down. Well here I am feeling better, and the word was protocol, which I wanted to follow, and mention that it did rain, and my plants got some good old rain water.
Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers..............John
I have been down for a couple of days, and my nurse just left but she had called the VA Hospital, to inform them I am on my way. I don't know how long I will be gone, but I am hoping for rain, while I am gone, I don't want to lose my plants like I did the last time.
Talk to you guy's when I return...............John

Pineapple flower stalk
The Pineapple is starting the stalk, to send the flower up, so the baby pineapple can form behind it.......John
My Last blog entry about my pineapple bloom, came and went , before I explained what the reason for the apple being placed in the center of the plant. An apple puts out a gas, called ethylene, which helps all Bromalaids to bloom. And in this case it worked.
This picture is of this morning, and it looks like the bloom is going to be purple............John

I have been waiting three years for this. I read some where that a apple cut in half, and placed in the center of the plant, would do the trick, and I guess they were right, because, it looks like a baby pineapple..........John
