and the big one to go. This time of year has always meant a lot to me because it meant forcing myself to take a little time to spend with my family. I seem to appreciate that more and more. I always ran my own business and let my children grow up around me, but not with me. all of a sudden I have grandchildren that are getting ready to have their own children. I have to ask myself what is wrong with this picture . But hind sight is always20-20.

I woke up this morning to the smell of what will be a fantastic turkey dinner. I had to suffer through all the pie baking smells yesterday and now this. And what tops it all is I woke up feeling great. Even added a couple more butterfly pics. My grandson had the electric company that was trimming the trees, to dump a load of mulch here to put on my flower beds and garden.

It is so sad that we can't always do what we want to do. When it gets to the point that we have to rely on someone else to do the things that always seemed so simple. Please don't get me wrong , because I greatly appreciate all the help that is given. I got so involved in moving the plants that I forgot to take the photos in progress. I did take a few.

He has never even helped me cover the gh before, but after I explained the process to him he told me to go in the house. My youngest daughter was in an auto accident Sat evening, so she couldnt help. She will be OK just on crutches. About an hour after dark my grandson came in and said it's done. We went out with flash lights and he has done an amazing job of covering the GH. Today after school he will help me move plants in. I keep making the mistake of saying he will help me. He does all the work. I plan on taking pics of moving the plants.

My youngest daughter and my 17 year old grandson is going to be here tomorrow to cover my GH and move some of the tender plants in. I am getting stronger every day so I will be able to arrange the plants in the GH later. The hardest plant will be my two papaya trees, one 8ft and one 6ft. My brugs for the most part I will cut at the ground and put in bubblers. My Elephant ears I will let the frost kill the leaves and then I will mulch till spring. Later

What a perfect day, it is another first day of the rest of my life. The sun is up and it did not frost yet. The leaves on the oaks are starting to turn but none of my flowers are hurt yet. My lovely wife of 45yrs took me for a walk outside this morning and assured me that she would get someone to help her cover my greenhouse. She is not hooked on plants the way I am, Her thing is in the house, mainly the kitchen. She does appreciate what effects the plants have on me. write more later

The weather here is not supposed to be as bad as I thought. I still may have time to get my greenhouse recovered before we get a hard frost. I spent the day trying to upload some photos. Some did and some did'nt. I think that I am getting stronger, but only time will tell.
