not ready for this

I have gotten so far behind on getting ready for fall. I had some bad damage to my cover to my green house, which I will have to totally recover. It got down to 38 deg last night but I think the wind was enough to keep the plant injuries down. I have not been able to go outside for acouple of days, but I can see my elephant ears from my window, and they dont seem to be bit. They are usually the first to show signs. I wish I could go out and look at my Brugmansias. I have so much time invested in them.

All you guy's are so understanding, please forgive me if I seem to ramble.

Keep that shovel shiney.

Catching up

I just found this wonderful GG site and was trying to learn my way around, thought I was doing ok when I had a pulmanary attack to my lungs. Spent the last few weeks in ICU at the VA. Now I have a oxygen hose running to my nose. I was never a smoker but have always had lung problems. That is why my wife has been hunting for Irish Moss. to make a natural healing medicine for the lungs. Nothing else has been working.

I sure dont want want to use this garden site to complain, I just want to explain where I have been.

I missed the biggest flush of blooms on my Brugs, looks like I have seed pods on my Elephant Ears, My papaya tree is over 10 ft tall and full of blooms. Getting tired will post more later.
