Well it is the first day of summer and this sunflower, that was planted by a bird in my hanging unsuccessful strawberry bag from last years experiment, decided to bloom. I've never grown sunflowers, so this is a pleasant achievement. 

Now, ain't that special. You all have a great summer day.

Skinner is a true Kentucky, corn and poke salad raised sportsman and expert walleye fisherman. He loves animals and gardening  as much as I do. He rescued  this baby raccoon, Jasper, that fell out of a tree when it was hairless and pink. He's been bottle feeding it and it is doing just fine.

His pug dog loves it too. See him licking it with love.
