When April passed away last year I said we wouldn't have another dog. For the last four or five years, we have had a love affair with our neighbors dog, Daisey. Well she had a litter of puppies almost eight weeks ago and Sandy gave me permission to adopt a new member to the family. There are already the two adorable cats, Kiki and Morris. Now here comes Easy. Named for me because I'm so easy.

He's a heart stealer and he is so smart. We are cage training him to be an inside dog. Have a great day everyone.
Today was another photo opportunity. I planted three Foxglove last year and two survived, one got stepped on and one bloomed. Here are two pictures of it blooming.

I've planted several snapdragons interspersed among other varieties of plants. This one is the first to bloom.
I just love the color of these petunias, I have two large planters, one at each corner of the drive way.
As an accent piece, I placed this urn of hens and chicks so they can warn us of any intruders.
I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful afternoon.
I had to take a couple of pictures before these ended. I planted a peony last year. It was a gift that came with a plant order. A small root in a plastic bag, hardly worth the effort, but I planted it. This year it sent up a singular stem with a singular bud. The bud became so large, I staked it so it wouldn't fall over. Today it bloomed it's singular show.

Some more clematis - two toned
The iris are on their way out, but this awesome light blue color is a showoff.
On May 4, 1957, I was lucky to be able to marry a perfect woman. A perfect mother and a perfect friend. In all of these years, I have never had to forgive her for anything. I don't exaggerate about this. It would be nice if I could say the same thing about me. You see, I am actually a human, with human weaknesses. I didn't know at the time that I was marring an alien from outer space. This is the only explanation I can come up with. Sandy is a one of a kind person. I have never been able the figure out how I was chosen to marry the only perfect woman in the universe. All I can say is, thank You God for my greatest gift, my wife.
We saw the sun and the noise of rain on the roof is quiet. I did plant some annuals this evening on the hill side garden. I also took a couple of pictures of my first white clematis.
