My first tulips 2010

This is a pot of tulips that I buried last fall. I bury the pot up to the top edge and cover with leaves and straw. A couple of weeks ago I noticed green starts coming up. A week ago, I dug it up and brought it inside into the warm air. The tulips jumped up and you could almost see them growing. Today they are beginning to bloom. Hooray for spring.

Today was a gardeners dream. The sun shining and temps close to 70 degrees. But the best was the daffodils blooming.
