I photographed several flowers this morning, but these two deserve a blog of their own. This immature start of the Lady In Red is hosting a red lady spider and some small praying mantis.
I bought twenty mantis cocoons in early spring and now I have to purchase some aphids to feed all of the baby mantis. Can you find them?

We are in the middle of our monsoon season. We don't usually have one, but this year has a different kind of season. There is rain in the forecast every day to some degree until the 14th of May and maybe beyond. It didn't stop the Mock Orange bush from taking stage for it's time to shine.
Around 5 or 6 pm, the smell will hypnotize. Here is a close up.
