Wouldn't it be great if every plant bloomed from spring to fall, all at the same time. But that isn't part of natures plan. Each plant has a mind of it's own and each one take the stage to show off. I look forward to photographing flowers doing their show time, and here are a few more doing their best to shine.
Helen Star Honeysuckle Bush
First Clematis
Royal Purple Columbine
Colorful Double Columbine
Lavender Pincushion Plant
Fifty year old rescued Iris
My front woods and wild garden
Some of these will be around for a little while. In the coming days there will be others to take their place and I will be the happy gardener who loves all of them. Bill Mitchell
It was sunny and warm today but I didn't work in the garden. I filled all the bird feeders and walked around and surveyed what was blooming and did a photo time.
The tulips in the rock garden.
A close up.
The white bleeding heart.
Some pansies in the rock garden.
Lenten rose and yellow wild poppies.
The weeping cherry (two years)
Kerria out front by the road.

The tulip bed in front of the house.
That's all for now folks.
You all have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell
