It's been very, very dry in this part of Kentucky, but I have watered everyday. Here are some of my late summer blooms. My passion flower.

My youngest of seven visited us on his way to Jeffersonville Indiana for his 20th class reunion. He brought his two kayaks with him. He lives in Charlotte NC. My wife is 70 years young and a good looker. Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment.

Come on! I'm not waiting forever.

Here we go.

No! I don't want to try it out. Y'all go ahead.

Off they go down the lake.

I hope everyone is doing fine and enjoyed these pictures.

My Mist Flowers are blooming finally. This is on time, I am just anxious or impatient. These are wild flowers in Kentucky and they must be controlled in the garden by pulling them in the spring.
Here is a red daisy that I bought in a group of daisies that I bought in the spring. They all struggled to get a start. I hope this one repeats next year.

The leaves showing behind the daisy are a dahlia.

The word got out in the bee community. When the saucer gets empty, there are thousands of bees hollering," Bill we need nectar", when I fill it up there are hundreds landing on me. I still haven't been stung. Here is the picture from the first day and the other pictures I took a couple of minutes ago.

This time of the summer brings so many honey bees to my hummer feeders. I decided to fill a saucer with the same mixture of sugar water that I fill the hummer feeders. The honey bees line up on the edge and sip away. In about an hour, they will drink a pint of home made nectar. I fill it and they are flying all around me and I have never been stung once.
