Just starting this blog........so not sure what I am doing.......but will just begin, and see where it goes.. Today was a beautiful, sunny, spring day! I did the usual laundry, and enjoyed hanging it on the line, letting the breezes dry it quickly....Garden time was not so long today.....As I spent the mornng running around, doing some shopping with my daughter..That was a great surprise!!  :)  So later in the afternoon I did take some pics. of some blooming flowers.......my Bleeding Heart is beginning it's decline.......but my columbines are coming alive.. :)  This evening I did transplant a few petunias that have self seeded themselves from last year.....I think purple in color.. Also watered the pansies and impatiens and south of house bed.......where the iris and California poppies are coming along. I noticed that my castor beans are breaking ground...:)We can use a rain here in Northwest Iowa.....but so far everything looks great!  Veggie garden is coming along.. I picked the first radish this evening for hubby.....he LOVES radishes!  Time to say good night........Happy Gardening everyone!  "Birdie"
