Things are coming up all over. This is Dusty's potato patch about two weeks ago. He is having so much fun with it. Now's he's making the mounds around them just like his Mom used to.
< p>The tomato seedlings are looking really spiffy. Dusty couldn't wait, however, and went and bought 3 bigger tomato plants for our 'garden soil bag' garden'.
These are from the basil seeds that I saved from last years crop and tried the 'winter sow' thing. I still don't understand the concept, or if I did it right, but we've now planted two of these and they have big smiles on their faces.
There are others coming up and I've planted more of the seeds and they are coming up also!
Two other kinds of basil that I winter sowed. They are much bigger now and I need to plant them........somewhere.
Remember the plant that I have kept in pots for 20 yrs? It seeded!!
Dusty did his willy nilly thing, but this year used seeds and I've got annuals popping up all over. Those that I've planted inside are all sprouting.
We got to work on the front beds last weekend. Dusty has been wanting to put the slate edge around that side bed. I had enough energy to make the 1 minute trip down the road to get the slate. He was really pleased with its outcome.
I not happy with the quality of these photos, but I'm learning the different settings on this camera.
Cleani ng up the left side. The verbena ( I think that is what you call it) looks the best that its ever looked.
We found 2 little solar lamp poles, a hummingbird and a butterfly that light up at night and constantly change colors. If they last, we may by more. It is really a nice look at night.
Wider view.
Dusty 's long wanted Daffodils.
The violas look great right now. We'll only have them for a short time until that hot southern sun gets to them.
