Nature's Ice Sculptures

Things are finally starting to.....well, not melt completely.  But the temps got slightly above freezing today and the ice has started to drip or turn to slush.  I noticed these in our bushes out front after taking Sadie for a walk!

This one looks like a girl doing Rrhythm gymnastics!

This one reminds me of an orchestra pit, or auditorium seating.

Do you see the face in the top part of this one?  Looks like he's saying "OH! Its cold in here...brrrrr"

I just plain like the green with this one :o)

And the last one is nothing special except it ended up smack in the middle of the bush!

I think I use my imagination well, don't you?  Did you see what I saw? :o)

(I had my little point & shoot camera with me, so the quality isn't quite as great, but I think you get the picture)

Icy Wonderland???

We are in the midst of an ice storm!  Round one has passed and this is what was left behind.  Round two is supposed to start early this afternoon.  Oh boy......

Looking out the back garage door at our other garage.  You can't see it but the ice is on all of the windows and doors too.

The pine trees are really sagging.  This one is too close to the power lines for comfort!

This was taken from one of our side windows.  I had to get out the longer lens to get a close up of our neighbors icy bush!

This last one really shows the ice hanging from everything, even the metal gate.  It fell as rain and turned to ice as soon as it hit, whatever it hit!

I hope everyone else who is in this huge weather system stays safe and warm!!
