Cleaned out the back flower garden - finally!

After fighting a cold for over a week I went to the doctor this morning and am now on an antibiotic, prescription cough syrup and eye drops.  Yes I was a mess - ha ha!!!  I stayed home from work and slept most of the day but finally, FINALLY! felt good enough this evening to go out into the back flower garden and trim the dead off of last years plants.  It looks so clean and neat again, and I found lots of green starting to poke up out of the ground!  It was VERY therapeutic working in the garden again, boy did I need it  :o)

First Crocus of the year!

This is my first flower of 2010 and of course its a Crocus!  Our house faces north so our spring flowers bloom a little later than most around here.  I'll add flowers from the garden as they come into bloom.  BTW, I'm lovin it more and more on this site the more I explore!  I found the games section today, how fun!!!
