Ficus ginseng bonsai

Hey everyone,

Been a while since I have blogged last. But I bought a "bonsai" today at Wal-Mart. If you can avoid buying one from there, I would recommend it. They are not true bonsai, they are what we like to call "mallsai", mass produced bonsai sold in big box stores. This one is a Ficus Ginseng. The Ficus part because it is a Ficus, the Ginseng part due to the tuber roots that have formed on it. I bought it really to see if I could transform it and make it something nice. Keep looking in the Bonsai thread in the Houseplants section to see updates on this little tree.
